Shrew Labs: Terms of Service
1. The Deposit & Commitment
To secure your "Lab Slot" and book your on-site photography visit, a non-refundable deposit is required. This fee covers the initial AI architecture of your site and our travel to your Shrewsbury location.
2. Payment & "Handover" (COD)
The remaining balance of your Setup Fee is due at the end of our physical appointment. We accept Cash, Bank Transfer, or Contactless payment. Access to your website credentials and delivery of physical assets (cards/flyers) will only occur once the balance is settled in full. Full payment will be required upon completion of the job.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
Your monthly fee (£15, £80, or £250) covers your secure hosting, professional email maintenance, and ongoing support.
Billing: Automated via Stripe/Klarna/Clearpay on the same date each month.
Cancellation: You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice. Upon cancellation, your website will be taken offline at the end of the billing cycle.
4. On-Site Photography & Conduct
We come to you to capture the "soul" of your business. It is the client's responsibility to ensure the workspace is "camera-ready." Shrew Labs reserves the right to reschedule (at the client's expense) if the environment is unsafe or unsuitable for professional photography.
5. Print Management & Quality
We use local Shrewsbury professional printers to ensure elite quality. Once a design is "Approved for Print" by the client, Shrew Labs is not responsible for typos or errors. Physical assets are hand-delivered or shipped directly to your door.
6. "Lifetime Revisions" & 24/7 Support
Revisions: Covers updates to text, images, or contact info. Major structural redesigns or new feature builds may incur a one-off "Lab Fee."
Support: Our 24/7 "On-Call" service applies to emergency website outages. Non-emergency design requests will be handled during standard business hours (Mon-Fri).
7. Intellectual Property
Once the setup fee is paid in full, you own the rights to your custom logo and brand assets. Shrew Labs retains the right to use the photography and website design for our own portfolio and marketing.
Refund Policy (Stripe Compliant)
"Because our work involves custom creative design and physical printing, we do not offer refunds once the 'Approval for Print' or 'Website Launch' has been authorized by the client. Deposits are non-refundable to cover initial design hours and travel."
