Shrew Labs: Terms of Service

1. The Deposit & Commitment

To secure your "Lab Slot" and book your on-site photography visit, a non-refundable deposit is required. This fee covers the initial AI architecture of your site and our travel to your Shrewsbury location.

2. Payment & "Handover" (COD)

The remaining balance of your Setup Fee is due at the end of our physical appointment. We accept Cash, Bank Transfer, or Contactless payment. Access to your website credentials and delivery of physical assets (cards/flyers) will only occur once the balance is settled in full. Full payment will be required upon completion of the job.

3. Monthly Subscriptions

Your monthly fee (£15, £80, or £250) covers your secure hosting, professional email maintenance, and ongoing support.

Billing: Automated via Stripe/Klarna/Clearpay on the same date each month.
Cancellation: You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice. Upon cancellation, your website will be taken offline at the end of the billing cycle.

4. On-Site Photography & Conduct

We come to you to capture the "soul" of your business. It is the client's responsibility to ensure the workspace is "camera-ready." Shrew Labs reserves the right to reschedule (at the client's expense) if the environment is unsafe or unsuitable for professional photography.

5. Print Management & Quality

We use local Shrewsbury professional printers to ensure elite quality. Once a design is "Approved for Print" by the client, Shrew Labs is not responsible for typos or errors. Physical assets are hand-delivered or shipped directly to your door.

6. "Lifetime Revisions" & 24/7 Support

Revisions: Covers updates to text, images, or contact info. Major structural redesigns or new feature builds may incur a one-off "Lab Fee."
Support: Our 24/7 "On-Call" service applies to emergency website outages. Non-emergency design requests will be handled during standard business hours (Mon-Fri).

7. Intellectual Property

Once the setup fee is paid in full, you own the rights to your custom logo and brand assets. Shrew Labs retains the right to use the photography and website design for our own portfolio and marketing.

Refund Policy (Stripe Compliant)

"Because our work involves custom creative design and physical printing, we do not offer refunds once the 'Approval for Print' or 'Website Launch' has been authorized by the client. Deposits are non-refundable to cover initial design hours and travel."

Shrew Labs: Terms of Deployment

1. The Protocol (Definitions)

"The Lab": Refers to Shrew Labs Co.
"The Client": The individual or entity authorizing a project or service.
"Operative": A vetted human professional (Remote Worker) deployed by the Lab.
"Neural Unit": Any AI-driven agent or automation tool provided by the Lab.
"Infrastructure": Websites, Apps, or Digital Systems built by the Lab.

2. Financial Authorization (Payments)

Setup Fees: All "Initialize" or setup fees are non-refundable once the build has commenced.
Subscription Fees: Monthly maintenance and hosting fees are billed in advance. Failure to maintain the subscription results in the "Digital Fortress" being placed in stasis (offline mode) until the account is settled.
80-Hour Blocks: Payment for Remote Operatives (£300 per block) is required upfront to secure the talent. Hours do not "roll over" unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.

3. Code Sovereignty (Intellectual Property)

Client Ownership: Upon final payment, the Client retains Code Sovereignty. This includes the domain name and the front-end source code specific to their build.
Lab Property: Shrew Labs retains ownership of its proprietary "Neural Engines," internal AI prompts, and back-end infrastructure tools used to build the client’s site or app.
The "Natural" License: The Lab retains the right to use any "Natural Branding" photography or AI Video Ads in its own portfolio and marketing material unless a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is initialized.

4. Remote Workforce & Ethics

The Ethical Standard: Shrew Labs guarantees that all Operatives are paid a minimum of 2x their local minimum wage.
Non-Solicitation: The Client agrees not to attempt to hire a Shrew Labs Operative directly outside of the Lab’s ecosystem for a period of 24 months following the end of the service.
Liability: While Operatives are vetted for the "Top 1%" quality, the Client is responsible for the final approval and oversight of the work produced by the Operative.

5. AI & Neural Units (Limitation of Liability)

Zero Slop Guarantee: The Lab uses AI to enhance, not replace, human intelligence. However, the Lab is not liable for "hallucinations" or errors produced by third-party AI models (e.g., GPT, Claude, or Vocal Engines).
Final Triage: The Client is responsible for the final review of any AI-generated text or voice calls. Shrew Labs is not liable for any misinformation provided by a Neural Unit if it was trained on data provided by the Client.

6. On-Site Operations (Shrewsbury Context)

Safety & Access: For on-site "Natural" photography or Developer visits, the Client must provide a safe, accessible environment.
Cancellations: On-site visits cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a "Reschedule Fee" to cover logistics.

7. Termination of Service

Off-Boarding: Clients may exit the Lab at any time by providing 30 days' notice.
Data Portability: Shrew Labs will assist in the migration of the Client’s data and code to a new host for a flat "Migration Fee," ensuring the Client's sovereignty is maintained during the transition.

8. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through the Lab's internal mediation will be settled in the jurisdiction of the courts nearest to Shrewsbury, UK.
